Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my site and for your interest in the issues, challenges,
and opportunities ahead for all Cuyahoga County voters as we prepare to
elect new leaders and institute bold, new reforms in our county government.
I am a candidate for the new County Council, representing District
5, which includes Olmsted Falls, Berea, Middleburg Heights, North Royalton,
Strongsville, and part of Olmsted Township. It’s a community I know
extremely well: I grew up here and graduated from Berea High School. I’ve
lived in Middleburg Heights and received my undergraduate degree from
Baldwin Wallace College. I’ve had the honor of serving as Council-at-Large
in Olmsted Falls, and I am on the Board of Trustees of Southwest General
Health Center, which serves all the communities in the southwestern corner
of our county.
As an elected official, I know how government works. As a business
owner and business consultant, I know how to work with companies and organizations,
large and small, to improve their management structure and operations
and to create an environment that leads to growth and job creation. And,
as a registered nurse and health care professional, I fully appreciate
the vital relationship between government and the private sector in ensuring
high quality health and human services.
I hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore this site and sign up
for periodic email updates. We’ll also be looking for volunteers
to help when they can with events, mailings, literature distribution,
phone calls, and other activities. And, because campaigns can be expensive,
I would greatly appreciate your financial support.
Please come back often for updates, and share this information
with your friends. Only by working together will we be able to succeed
in re-shaping and re-energizing our government in the best interests of
our citizens.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Ann Marie Donegan
